SciQLOP - Feature #919 (New): allow possible connection between events in catalogs
https://hephaistos.lpp.polytechnique.fr/redmine/issues/919

Nicolas Aunai

<p>It should be possible to link events with other events. <br>
Either they are part of the same observation/conjunection of spacecraft, or hey are somehow casually linked like for example a iCME seen by ACE, could be externally linked to a SOHO distant observation of the sun where the CME is seen as an image.<br>
This is useful for space weather where some events may be seen at different distance from the sun and/or by different s/c</p>
SciQLOP - Feature #918 (New): View catalog timelines

<p>It should be possible to see a histogram showing the number of events in different catalogs in a given time period.<br>
On the attached pic. I have selected 3 catalogs, and as a function of time I see the number of events in these catalogs.<br>
The histogram is dynamically adjusted (bin size) as I zoom in and out. <br>
I should be able, by putting my mouse over the histogram bars, to see some metadata, like number of events, spacecraft etc.</p>
<p>This should be very useful to see if other events have been catalogued as I'm browsing data on, say, Cluster... I look at the time period I'm currently plotting, and I see events have been labeled with Geotail spacecraft, and I might be interested in looking at this data.</p>
SciQLOP - Feature #895 (New): Data tree filter real time filtering
https://hephaistos.lpp.polytechnique.fr/redmine/issues/895
2017-01-13T12:29:33Z
Alexis Jeandet
<p>For now we have to hit enter to get result, it would be better to have real time filtering </p>
SciQLOP - Feature #892 (New): Add category choice for filter on data tree
https://hephaistos.lpp.polytechnique.fr/redmine/issues/892
2017-01-13T12:17:18Z
Alexis Jeandet
<p>The data tree filter searches on all attributes, we should be able to select on which attribute we want to filter.</p>
SciQLOP - Feature #891 (New): Add expand/collapse all on data tree
https://hephaistos.lpp.polytechnique.fr/redmine/issues/891
2017-01-13T12:14:01Z
Alexis Jeandet
<p>The data tree filter expands all nodes, this not cool. </p>
SciQLOP - Feature #673 (New): code must be documented

Nicolas Aunai
nicolas.aunai@lpp.polytechnique.fr
<p>The code is not currently documented.<br>
Functions/modules/classes etc. should be fully documented with the doxygen system.</p>
SciQLOP - Feature #664 (Closed): Add progress bar in time selection window

Nicolas Aunai
nicolas.aunai@lpp.polytechnique.fr
<p>User should be able to see the progress of the download.</p>
SciQLOP - Feature #654 (Resolved): Horizontal Zoom
https://hephaistos.lpp.polytechnique.fr/redmine/issues/654
2016-03-09T10:31:40Z
Anonymous
<p>Zooming horizontally (along X axis only) must be implemented.<br>
As far as I know, this feature is not available directly from the QChart library, so we need to add it.</p>
SciQLOP - Feature #640 (New): Feature "Same As" for data time selection
https://hephaistos.lpp.polytechnique.fr/redmine/issues/640
2016-03-01T16:46:07Z

<p>This feature needs improvement in the database and in the way data are stored in order to be deployed.</p>
<p>Missing points :</p>
<ul>
<li>start and stop dates of data in the database are not stored in metadata, so we need to develop something to provide access to it.</li>
<li>in the case of data extracted from direct files, it is necessary to check deep inside metadata to access start and stop time (especially for cdf files).</li>
</ul>

SciQLOP - Feature #466 (Closed): Add some extra formats to export data
https://hephaistos.lpp.polytechnique.fr/redmine/issues/466
2015-07-13T13:18:30Z
Alexis Jeandet
<p>It may be a good feature to be able to export electric or magnetic fields to wav,mp3 or ogg formats. It as already been asked by users.</p>
Feature #423 (New): Dump data frequency over time

<p>Cassini data: Sampling frequency varies with time -> we should be able to plot the sampling frequency vs time.</p>
Feature #366 (New): visualisation de spectrogrammes

Feature #365 (New): lecture fichiers CDF

<p>Il serait intéressant de pouvoir lire des fichiers CDF vu que (toutes?) les missions mettent leurs données dans ce format.<br>
<a href="http://spdf.gsfc.nasa.gov/data_orbits.html">http://spdf.gsfc.nasa.gov/data_orbits.html</a></p>
