Once soldered BBM need to be tested, this issue exists mainly to keep a track of results and also problems if there is any.

Task #3849 (Closed): Update BBM schematics with correct part valueshttps://hephaistos.lpp.polytechnique.fr/redmine/issues/38492021-05-20T11:28:48ZAlexis Jeandet

To solder the BBM and keep some history of what has been done, we need an up to date schematics with correct part values.
For some parts such as regulation tune resistors just update the schematic.
For parts we have several options, we can either add a text table next to the component or maybe (should be possible with kicad) set value field with a coma separated list of values.
Anyway we will produce as-built for each boards once soldered and tested.

Once the schematic updated I can take care about pushing on github.

Task #3848 (Closed): BBM solderinghttps://hephaistos.lpp.polytechnique.fr/redmine/issues/38482021-05-20T11:20:08ZAlexis Jeandet

Solder first one board, then maybe two if we want to compare different options without doing too much modifications on the same board.
Not changing too much the same board will also allow to reproduce measurements over time!

Task #3845 (In Progress): Order missing parts for BBMhttps://hephaistos.lpp.polytechnique.fr/redmine/issues/3845#change-100452021-05-20T11:08:04ZAlexis JeandetTask #3817 (Closed): BBM PCB layouthttps://hephaistos.lpp.polytechnique.fr/redmine/issues/3817#change-100442021-05-20T11:07:36ZAlexis Jeandet

The first solution is to adapt the feedback capacitance of the first stage amplifier so that to limit the band width: According to simulation and depending on the desired roll-off frequency, the total feedback capacitance could be:
Cfb -> BW
825 nF -> 16 Hz
414 nF -> 32 Hz
207nF -> 64 Hz
~103.3 nF -> 128 Hz
